According to the latest report Sushant and Rhea were prepping up for their first movie together. The couple was to feature in Rumy Jafry’s rom-com next. Spilling the beans on the same, the filmmaker told the news publication that the script of the film was locked and they were to begin shooting in May. However, the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown delayed things. The director added that he lost Irrfan Khan, then Rishi Kapoor and Wajid and now Sushant. Rumy told in an interview, “A rom-com, it was to explore Sushant’s dancing skills. He was a fantastic dancer and my film would have showcased him in a different light. He loved Shah Rukh Khan’s acting and Govinda’s dance and that’s why I had a full-fledged dance number with Govinda-style moves planned for our mahurat.” He said the first schedule of the film was supposed to start in Mumbai and then they would have shot the other portions in London and Punjab. The shooting of the film was to be completed within six months and it would have been wrapped up by November this year. Rumy also shared how Sushant was keen to get back to work post lockdown. “He didn’t have too many friends in the industry but was very passionate about his work. He kept reading my script even during the lockdown and was keen on a joint narration. He was looking forward to starting work on the film soon and every time the lockdown was extended, he would get upset because he wanted to get back to work and rehearse,” he said. He also shared his recent conversation with the actor and said, “I messaged him around four to five days ago, when I learnt that his former manager Disha (Salian) had passed away. I asked him to ‘take care’ and he replied with four hearts and ‘love you sir’, promising to catch up soon.” Mukesh Bhatt recently revealed that he had already feared that the actor was going the Parveen Babi way. Talking to a news portal, Mukesh Bhatt revealed that he had met Sushant on a number of occasions. He had also come to their office for ‘Aashiqui 2’. However, he added that things didn't work out then. Elaborating further, Mukesh stated that when we were beginning ‘Sadak 2’, Alia and Mahesh Bhatt said that Sushant was very keen. So the actor came over and met Bhatt. He revealed that they spent about an hour talking about various things. Actors Bharti Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma’s former manager Disha Salian allegedly committed suicide on Monday night. Salian had jumped off the 14th floor of a building in the Jankalyan area of Mumbai’s Malad. Many Bollywood actors including Sushant, Varun, Richa Chadha and Nushrat Bharucha took to social media to condole her demise. Disha Salian passed away on Monday after allegedly falling off the 14th floor of her friend’s residence in Mumbai’s Malad. Now, as per the police report, Disha did not commit suicide but fell off from the window of the apartment at 1 am on Tuesday. It is also reported that she was drinking with friends after dinner and was tipsy and hence, she slipped off the window. On the basis of the Police interrogation of the close friend, Disha was suffering from depression from the last few days. It has also been reported that she had a fight with her fiance, Rohan Rai, before allegedly falling off the window. As per the Mirror report, Senior Inspector Jagdev Kalapad of Malvani police station said, “There were six friends in all. They were drinking after dinner. Disha Salian, who was also tipsy, walked to the window of the apartment from where she fell down around 1 am on Tuesday.”As per Jagdev, the police were informed at 2.25 am, following cops rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Mumbai Police have registered the case of accidental death report. For now, Police have recorded the statement of the deceased’s parents. Her fiance might also be asked for a statement. Paying condolence, Sushant Singh Rajput wrote, “It’s such a devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha’s family and friends. Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur took upon themselves to clean the former’s Panvel farmhouse on the occasion of World Environment Day on Friday. The Dabangg Khan of Bollywood shared a video on social media where he, along with other people, swept the leaves scattered around his farmhouse. Sharing the video, Salman wrote, “#SwachhBharat #WorldEnvironmentDay Music Credits: Mark Mothersbaugh.” Iulia Vantur who joined the Bharat actor in cleaning the farmhouse shared the video on Instagram and captioned it, “Happy world environment day! We do our part!” Earlier, she had also shared photos of the damage the farmhouse suffered due to cyclone Nisarga Salman has been living at his Panvel farmhouse ever since the coronavirus induced nationwide lockdown started. His sister Arpita’s family, Jacqueline Fernandez and a few other friends are also staying at the farmhouse. Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on June 4. They decided to name their little bundle of joy as Ved. An elated Sumeet took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his baby boy. “It's a boy. Shall be called Ved. Mamma and Daddy are acting cliche...smothering the child every few minutes,” the announcement reads.

Bollywood movie casting director, Krish Kapur passed away. He was just 28. Earlier, it was reported that the casting director had passed away in a freak accident. Krish's uncle denied having lost his nephew in a car accident. He revealed that he passed away due to brain hemorrhage. "He had no medical history. He was healthy and doing absolutely fine.

Maharashtra government has allowed shooting of films and TV shows in non-containment zones, with certain conditions. The Cultural Affairs Ministry said that producers will have to follow these guidelines strictly and "Violation of the rules will lead to stopping of the work," it added. Here are the norms that need to be followed: - Shoot locations need to be sanitised thoroughly before and after use. Disinfectants have to be chosen carefully in order to avoid damage. - Alternate lodging needs to be provided to house occupants for the duration of the shoot. - Increased space for social distancing during lunch hour is mandatory. Audience holding area to be used to spread out the crew during meals. One individual will put up and take down all location signs. Only essential personnel will be allowed on sets, and additional visitors will have to be avoided when possible. - A washing station has to be made available when there is no access to running water. - Wearing masks/gloves is compulsory during shoots except for those on air. Transparent face shields to be worn by those who come in close contact with the artistes and crew, like those serving food, the make-up artists, etc.  Equipment boxes will be disinfected after every shoot. Mics to be labelled with the name of the user. Mounting components that cannot be thoroughly cleaned will have to be replaced. It is advised to use boom-only audio whenever possible. - The entire crew will vacate the studio at the end of the day. Their re-entry the next day will be regulated as per the health and hygiene norms mentioned earlier, and according to those issued by the Government from time to time. - Annual training workshops will be in place to upgrade skills about safety measures. - Regular temperature screening, oxygen-level monitoring and medical history to be assessed by medical practitioners working at shoot locations. - During the shoot of non-fiction content, the strength of the crew should be 33 per cent of the total. Camera unit staff has to be reduced. Cameras to be placed abiding by social distancing norms. Use of attendants to be minimal. For non-fiction shows, seating arrangements shall be as per social distancing norms, that is, individual sofas and not combined sofas. TV actress Preksha Mehta committed suicide on Monday, May 25. The actress was found hanging at her Indore residence on May 26 by her family members.  She was 25. After working in theatre in Madhya Pradesh, Preksha Mehta moved to Mumbai in 2018. Preksha starred in shows like Crime Patrol, Laal Ishq and Meri Durga. She was also a part of Akshay Kumar starrer Padman. She also did a couple of music videos like “Tore Naina” and “Sakha”. Actor Karan Kundrra sent his condolences to Preksha’s family and emphasised on having conversations about mental health. Quoting Preksha’s last message on Instagram, Kundrra wrote on Twitter, “‘Sabse bura hota hai sapno ka marr jaana’ another television actor has committed suicide and this is what she posted last on her Instagram #prekshamehta this is extremely sad! You were so young.. you had your entire life in front of you! We need to talk more about mental health..” He added, “A look at her Instagram shows nothing out of the ordinary, which just shows how much more we need to care about people around us in these tough times and not just assume they’re fine! RIP little one, we shall pray for you! This too shall pass!” Actors Arjun Bijlani, Ridhima Pandit and Kanwar Dhilon commented on the post and expressed their grief on the actress's death."Extremely heartbreaking," wrote Arjun Bijlani. Actress Ridhima Pandit commented, "So sad...not everyone is blessed with a strong support system...may her soul rest in peace (sic)." The news of Preksha's suicide came just days after actor Manmeet Grewal taking his own life due to financial issues. Veteran film and TV actor Kiran Kumar has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently under home quarantine. Kiran Kumar late Saturday revealed he has been home quarantined since testing positive for coronavirus on May 14. The 74-year-old actor said he is asymptomatic and is doing "absolutely fine". "I am asymptomatic. On May 14, I went to the hospital for a medical check-up, where the Covid-19 test was mandatory. So I got myself tested and the result was positive. "But I had no symptoms then, nor do I have any now. There's no fever, no cough, I'm fine and have self quarantined at home," Kumar told PTI. The actor, who had featured in films like Dhadkan, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, among others, said it has been ten days since the test happened and he still hasn't developed any symptoms "My family lives on the second floor of the building and I'm currently on the third floor.
