A complaint was filed before a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar on Thursday against film makers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, besides actress Alia Bhatt, who have been accused of "hurting Hindu sentiments" through a poster of their upcoming venture "Sadak 2". The complaint was lodged by Acharya Chandra Kishore Parashar, a resident of Sikandarpur locality of the town, through his advocate Sonu Kumar.  

Aamir Khan, in a statement to the media, confirmed that some of his staff members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor said that those who tested positive have been quarantined. In his statement, Aamir Khan said, "Hello everyone, this is to inform you that some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility." Thanking Municipal Corporation of Mumbai, he said, "I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilising the entire society (sic)." Along with his staff, Aamir Khan and his family were also tested for the virus and were found negative. They are waiting for the actor's mother's result. He said, "The rest of us have all been tested and found negative. Right now I am taking my mother to get her tested. She is the last person in the loop. Please pray that she is negative. I would, once again, like to thank the BMC for the prompt, professional and caring manner in which they helped us (sic)."  "And a big thank you to Kokilaben Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff there. They were very caring and professional with the testing process (sic)," added Aamir. Earlier, three members of Boney Kapoor's home staff had also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. They have recovered now. Aamir Khan was to resume shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha from July 15. But since his staff members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, it seems it will take more time before the team resumes shoot. Well, this is the second petition filed before the CJM''s court in the north Bihar town of Muzaffarpur in connection with the suicide of the Patna-born actor, as earlier a case was filed against Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan. Grieving over his son's sudden death, Sushant Singh Rajput's father stated that he always shared his struggles with him and this was the only time he didn't know about what was happening with Sushant. He also revealed that the last conversation he had with Sushant Singh Rajput was about his marriage. The actor's father confirmed that he was looking forward to getting married in early 2021. Bollywood actor Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja met with a car accident in Juhu, Mumbai on Wednesday night. Govinda said, “My son Yashvardhan was driving the car and suddenly a car came in front of his car and rammed into him. However, my son is safe. He has got a few injuries on his arms, but nothing to worry. The car has had a few dents and scratches.” The actor added, “We have not lodged a police complaint because the driver apologised to us, and it is a car from Yash Raj. We have an old relationship with them. Their driver was driving the car. Bushan Kumar's wife and director, Divya Khosla Kumar, has hit back at Sonu Nigam after the singer accused the Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series of targeting him for calling out mafia in the music industry. Divya has called Sonu "thankless" as she said that it was T-Series that give him a break in the industry. Divya Khosla Kumar took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Today, it's all about who can run a good campaign... I'm even seeing people being able to sell lies & deceits with their strong campaign... #sonunigam such kind of people know how to play with the minds of the audience..... God save our world!!! A complaint was filed in a court in Bihar on Saturday, accusing actress Rhea Chakraborty of abetting the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea and Sushant were reportedly in a relationship. Kundan Kumar, a resident of Patahi locality in Muzaffarpur, filed his petition before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar. It has been posted for hearing on June 24. Rhea Chakraborty who lived with Sushant for nearly year walked out of his home due to differences. Sushant also reportedly deleted all the pictures of Rhea from his Instagram feed. A couple of weeks later, Sushant hanged himself at his residence. Earlier this week, a local advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha had filed a similar petition naming Bollywood bigwigs Salman Khan, Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ekta Kapoor as accused. Ojha had alleged that the heavyweights had tried to stall the career of the upcoming star.Kumar has accused Chakraborty of “financial and mental exploitation” of Rajput. “My client is a huge fan of Rajput and has been deeply distressed by his suicide. Abhay Deol has broken his silence on the ongoing debate on social media about the nepotistic practices in the film industry by citing his own experience of his superhit 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The film featured actors Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. However, most of the Bollywood awards nominated Deol and Akhtar in the Supporting Actor category, while Hrithik and Katrina were pitched for the Leading Role category. In his latest Instagram post, Deol, known for his unfiltered and honest opinions, wrote how according to the industry’s logic, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was a love story of a boy and a girl instead of being a story about life and friendship. Sharing a still from the film, Abhay Deol wrote, “I would like to mention that almost all the award functions demoted me and Farhan from main leads, and nominated us as “supporting actors”. Hrithik and Katrina were nominated as “actors in a leading role”. So by the industry’s own logic, this was a film about a man and a woman falling in love, with the man supported by his friends for whatever decisions he takes.”This led to Deol boycotting the ‘familyfare’ award shows. He added, “There are many covert and overt ways in which people in the industry lobby against you. In this case, it was shamelessly overt. I of course boycotted the awards but Farhan was ok with it. #familyfareawards” However, this is not the first time that the Dev D actor has spoken his mind.
