He has been asked to appear before the ED at 11 AM today. He had been summoned on Saturday but Deshmukh had requested to give some more time.
Former Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh had alleged that, Deshmukh asked police officers to collect 100 crore rupees ransom from pubs and bars owners in Mumbai. Parambir Singh approached Mumbai high court and it has directed ED to start a probe against Deshmukh.
