Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda launched ADI PRASHIKSHAN portal yesterday. Tribal Affairs Ministry has developed the portal in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme.

Its aim is to provide comprehensive information on training programmes held across the country. Adi Prashikshan-Training for Tribals is an initiative to reach the remotest area using information technology so that tribal communities are able to have access to their rights and benefits. It is an effort to bring Training Institutions, Organizations, Experts and Trainers together.

Mr Munda has stressed on creating awareness among tribal communities of their rights and entitlements. He said, this requires extensive training and capacity building of tribal communities and different stakeholders.
