In Tamil Nadu, fresh COVID cases have reduced to 7,427. Over 15 thousand COVID patients were discharged after treatment. A total of 189 deaths were reported. Presently, more than 61 thousand patients are under treatment.
Over one lakh 65 thousand samples were tested through RT-PCR across the state. Chennai ‘s fresh COVID cases count went below 500. Coimbatore and Erode were at 891 and 795 respectively.
