PM Modi emphasised that hospital safety is crucial for the treatment of the patients. Expressing grief on recent incidents of oxygen leakage and fire at hospitals, the Prime Minister insisted that the administrative staff of the hospital needs to be made more aware of the safety protocols, now more than ever.
The administration must also aware of people to avoid public panic buying. 

The Chief Ministers of states briefed PM Modi about all necessary steps being taken by respective State Governments to tackle the second wave of COVID-19. The States also recognised the directions given by the PM and the road map presented by NITI Aayog which would help all individual States/UTs to plan their responses in a better way for the upcoming weeks.
