Deepika Padukone was in attendance at GQ Fashion Night event held in Mumbai earlier tonight. The 'Padmavati' actress looked breathtaking in a custom made Sabyasachi outfit. Her look was a modern take on saree, which included an embellished high waisted mermaid skirt, a plunging neckline blouse and a black fabric draped across her body to mimic a pallu. The look was styled with a skinny belt, Sabyasachi earrings, smokey eyes and hair worn in a ponytail. Usually for events like these, actresses tend to go super sexy and modern. She looked so captivating and statuesque.Deepika has recently wrapped up the filming of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati. She has also started promoting the film. Her regal look from the film has been widely appreciated and fans have been waiting with bated breath for the film to release on 1st December, 2017.  Deepika spoke about the film at a recent media event and said, "It's been a while since I have been so nervous. I can't remember the time I was so nervous. I think it is the function of the fact that in all the movies that I've done, I feel there is something (different) about this one. And it is not from the heart, it is not from the head, it is from the gut... It is coming from a completely different place. It has been an extremely emotional journey for all of us. Especially after we launched the trailer, I think the response and the reactions were absolutely overwhelming. I think Sanjay Sir and all of us just literally did a group hug.
