After a hush-hush yet dreamy wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma on Thursday hosted a grand reception at the Taj Diplomatic Enclave in New Delhi. The party, which was only for Virushka's family members and close friends, was graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom the couple personally handed the invitation card.

Both Virat and Anushka, who were dressed in Sabyasachi ensembles for the reception night, complemented each other perfectly. While Virat opted for a black ‘textured silk signature bandhgala with the house buttons in 18k gold and a white silk kurta with a hand-woven silk churidar’, Anushka looked resplendent in a red Benarasi sari with uncut diamond choker and jhumkas from Sabyasachi’s bridal jewelry collection. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were the star attraction at Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma's wedding reception, which was mainly attended by the family members and close relatives and friends of the couple amid high security. Police had blocked approach roads to the venue, especially for PM Modi and FM Jaitley's arrival. Apart from the two political heavyweights, there was another guest who stole the show at the Virushka reception in Delhi. The young 'celebrity' was none other than Shikhar Dhawan's son Zoravar. Dhawan's wife Aesha too was present at the function. Virat was seen dancing with Zoravar to a popular Punjabi number along with singer Gurdas Maan and Dhawan. Interestingly, a special stage was designed for the couple with candles burning inside crystal fixtures. Virat and Anushka married in Tuscany Italy on December 11. The couple will now travel to Mumbai for their second reception, which will be a full-on Bollywood affair. The Mumbai reception has been scheduled for December 26. Anushka and Virat will travel to South Africa soon on December 27, where Virat will prepare for an upcoming series. Anushka will ring in New Year with her husband and return in early 2018 to complete her pending work commitments -a film with Aanand L Rai, YRF's Sui Dhaagaand the promotions of Pari.
