In Kerala, 10,905 Covid positive cases were confirmed in the state within the last 24 hours, while 12,351 recoveries were also reported. The test positivity rate is 10.49 per cent. As 62 deaths were registered within 24 hours, the death toll in the state has risen to 12,879.

Meanwhile, Kerala Government has proposed a special financial aid package worth 1416 crore rupees for small scale industries to overcome losses caused by Covid pandemic. State Industries Minister P. Rajeev announced the package at a MSME day celebrations. The package was announced taking into account the severe losses incurred by the MSME sector during the lockdown period.
