Ever since Kamal Haasan turned host for Bigg Boss Tamil, defamation cases have been hurled at the actor and the show, left, right and centre. Yet another case was filed in a Chennai court against the veteran actor alleging he had demeaned a particular community in the July 14th episode of Bigg Boss Tamil. As per reports on Deccan Chronicle, the complaint was filed in a magistrate court. The hearing for this case will be held on September 1st. 

The Isai Vellalar community and its President, K R Kuhesh have the highest regard for the Nadaswaram, a musical instrument. according to them, in the above mentioned episode, the instrument was handled carelessly and was passed around in a callous manner.  Furthermore the instrument was kept on the table, which is deemed an insult to the community. The community was also of the view that this act of insult was carried out deliberately in order to attract viewers and that is why the act should be punished. Before this a Rs 100 crore defamation case was already filed against the actor for another controversy. Reportedly on one of the episodes, one of the contestant insulted another with a derogatory word and the host, Kamal Haasna did not take action. They gave him a two day ultimatum before they slapped a case at the actor. In fact, many Hindu groups have wanted to ban the show as it went against Tmail culture and tradition.  Looks like until the show comes to end, defamation cases will be filed one after the other. For now, Kamal Haasan will remain controversy's favourite child. The actor however remain unperturbed and has chosen not to comment.In other news, Kamal Haasan has annouced his next film - Thalaivan Irukkiraan. It's touted to be a political thriller. He will be teaming up with Saif Ali Khan for this film. The movie is expected to go on floors post.
